The Poetry Group meet every Wednesday morning, upstairs in Holmfirth Library. The session runs from 10.30 to 12.30. Each week we explore poems by a particular poet or on a particular theme. There is much lively discussion arising from our reading.

Every now and then we have a writing session, which is sometimes guided in workshop fashion. Members are also encouraged to bring their own poems - but there is absolutely no pressure to do so!

We have a lot of fun, share moving moments and enjoy a pleasant refreshment break!

There are 14 people on the attendance list, and we have room for one more. When we have reached 15, we would ask people keen to join, to put their names on the waiting list.
